Bravo, Miami!

Last night, I was watching TV and embroidering a pillowcase, not totally focused on the screen. Sheer Genius started on Bravo, and I was watching, thinking about how familiar this one chick looked, the butchy Mexican lady. All of a sudden, I realized that I actually do know her! She used to cut my hair at Allure in the Grove. She goes by Dee, but I think her name is really Denise. She was actually very good, but not the easiest to talk to. Doesn't matter, I was really excited. It turns out she waxed my coworkers brows a few years back, too! GO Miami Dee, bro!

Books

I went to The Bookstore in Coconut Grove and it was cute, though not what I expected. It was a good, though small space, and had lots of gifts and scrumptious looking food. There wasn't the best selection of books though, which is, oddly enough, why I go to bookstores. I'm spoiled by Books and Books. I really think they have the best buyers, or at least ones that read what I do. Also, there were so many old people there! I'm no spring chicken, but these were some dinosaurs. I would like to start hanging out there for the free wi-fi!
