Eddie and I finally made it to Opening Ceremony and it actually has some neat, goofy and beautiful stuff. Beside my perfect b-day gift dress, this was probably the coolest thing in the store. It's a purse.
Liza took me to Ivo and Lulu, a tiny French byob restaurant, and I had one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. This is an acorn squash filled with vegetables in a coconut milk stew. It was beautiful and tasted like cinnamon sprinkled on home. We shared a potato au gratin that was not too salty or cheesy, but rather, wonderfully flavored with tons of fresh basil and a light flavor. Liza ordered the duck and it was deliciously tasty and not greasy.
Liza had some men staying at her apartment (bachelor party!), so we stayed at 60 Thompson.
This is Liza in the Thai restaurant downstairs, which I heard was good. The hotel room was really nice and the shower had two shower heads, so we each took 2 showers (alone, pervs), within a 12 hour period.

That acorn squash looks like heaven. I NEED IT.
Why do you have to post so many good food pics? I can't get enough!
